Happy Valentine's Day Treats

Hello Stampers,

Just a quick little post to share my cute little Valentine's that I created for my coworkers.  I work with some pretty amazing ladies, but I have the pleasure of working with some of my favorite girls on Valentine's Day.

I wanted to make them some cute little somethings so that they know that I appreciate them and love working with them... Thanks Dawn Griffith for this cute idea... She did hers a bit different, but she made such great favors and I think that the ones that I have created are equally as cute...

I used the January Paper Pumpkin kit stamps to create my cute favors.  I also used the blushing bride glimmer paper from a past sale.  I think paired with the sweet sugarplum paper it is perfect.

For these favors you want to cut your paper 3" x 7"...Then you will score on the long edge at 1 3/8", 1 7/8", 3 1/4", 3 3/4".   You will stamp on the large area on one side, flip it and stamp on the scored areas. Once you fold it up you will see the stamped images on the holder portion, and on the top flap... Glue it together and slide in your nuggets, it will fit three of them perfectly...

I am sure these little cuties will make someones day for sure!!

I didn't do multiple colors like Dawn, but I think that the sweet sugarplum cardstock is one of my favorite colors for this year.

I mentioned before the paper crafting kit (Paper Pumpkin) stamp set from the January kit that I used on these favors. It is one of the coolest kits that you can get every month...We have so much fun with these kits, and if you wanted to give it a try I would love for you to get them with me as your demonstrator.  Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Happy Valentine's Day Ya'll

Your so Sweet....Valentine's Card

Good Morning Ya'll

Welcome to Southern Belle Stampin today. I have been sharing with you all my creativeness for this week of Valentine's Posts.

Today is the last card that I will share with you this week.  It is a card that I also cased from Pinterest.  This card is the original card by Karen Titus, another Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  She did a wonderful job with her card. ------------->

I wanted more color so I chose to use the Real Red card base, and I also added to it by using just black and white bits from the Stacked with Love Paper pad.  I also used the Encore Silver Ink to put stamped hearts and You're Sweet Stamp from the You & Me stamp set.  This set has such cute stamps and I just love it.  I used the silver ink to stamp the sentiment, and to ink around the edges of the black die cut heart.  I added just one silver glimmer heart to the black heart so that it would add a bit of bling to the image.

I used six hearts punched with the Sweetheart Punch, and I made sure that I spaced them on the bottom of the card prior to gluing them on.  I wanted to make sure the spacing was right.  You could add a bit if silver ribbon too if you like, but I wanted to keep the design simple.

I sure hope that you have enjoyed the posts from this week, and you will stop back by to see the last post for this week.  I am sure that you will enjoy it as much as I will.

Thanks ya'll stop back by again now!

Valentine's Party Treats for school....with Emily !!!

Who says that making homemade school Valentine's are out of style....

My daughter Emily is ahead of the game with finishing up her Valentine's for school this past weekend. She spent last weekend stamping and punching out her embellishments for her treats for school.

She was so quick getting them all designed out and now that they are all assembled we need to add the ribbon and treats.

Here is a collection of all our supplies to make Emily's Valentines

We gathered our supplies and started to assemble her treats.  She needed to make 26 for her class. She loved putting the inked hearts on the tags, and punching the stamped images out.  She got the idea of the inked silver hearts from the card that I designed for my Valentine's card class.  I feel proud that I could even inspire her with her treat designs.

Just love how they all turned out. She did pink for the girls and she did red for the boys.  We tied the valentines pencils on and then added a smartie to the front.

Nice Job Emily,  mama is so proud of you...and I had a lot of fun helping you tie all the ribbons.

Thanks ya'll for joining in today, Emily and I had fun sharing with you our project.

Ya'll stop by again now for more Valentine's Surprises..

You & Me...Love started with us....

Good Morning Ya'll,

Welcome to Post #2 for Valentine's week.

Today's card will be the one that I give my sweetie this Valentine's Day.  I think that this special day has gotten way overly commercialized.  It is a day to celebrate love, and I think that there is no better way to do that than to make your own card and share that with your loved ones.

I love the fact that it is a day for lovers alike to share where their life started, and that deep love that makes us swell with pride because everything that comes next started here.

For me that is a wonderful husband and 2 great kids..and a happy marriage of 18 years this year!!

Take the time to tell those that you love what they mean to you, because life is short to hold all that love inside and not share it with others.

Now back to today's card....It is the perfect card for me.  I can't say it is the favorite, but it is a favorite.

The idea for this card came from one that I saw on Pinterest.  Amy Rysavy. She is a demonstrator in Canada.  Here is her card...I love the stacked hearts, but I didn't have the twine so I wanted to include more color, and a different card base.------------------------->

And here is the card that I made.  I didn't use the twine, rather "Stacked with Love" strip of paper and the glimmer paper. I put my hearts in the middle verses down the side.  I think that both cards are wonderful, but I adapted it to include the supplies that I had on hand and to my style.

Supplies Used:

Basic Black Card Stock-Card Base
Real Red Card Stock- Small hearts
Silver Glimmer Paper- 1/2 Strip
Stacked with Love Paper Stack- Red Hearts DSP
Sweetheart Punch-2
Heart Punch (from the Itty Bitty Punch set)- Multiple punched out of different papers in the stack,
Staz On Black Ink
Heart Thinlit Dies(Third smallest)
Perfect Pennants Stamp set
Dimentionals and Tombo glue for adhesives

This super cute card is a great card for that special someone.  Stop in on my site and get these supplies to start your card making for Valentine's Day.

Ya'll check back tomorrow and see what card is next.

Later Ya'll,
