We started our journey early Friday morning to collect all of our passengers and to get to Milwaukee in time for Michelle to attend the Center Stage event that she earned for her title Friday evening. The ride was long but it was filled with wonderful conversation and a picnic in the van.
Once we arrived and figured out where our parking was to be for overnight, we freshened up for our walk to find dinner. It was a windy brisk walk but when you couple that with good friends and conversation it can't be beat...

We had dinner and a drink to unwind and enjoy our evening.. It was at a Brewery Pub, and the Chicken Mac and Cheese was absolutely wonderful...I think that Jess and I made a great choice for dinner...
After dinner we walked back to our hotel for the evening. There I had some great help assembling my swaps for the next day...I had made over 60 swaps for event, all the same card but using 3 different ink combinations. They turned out beautiful and sometimes simple is the best course of action.
Jess and I worked on finishing our SWAPS for the next day and then it was time to call it a night. We were all super tired from the long day of driving and it was a welcomed thought to hop into bed and try to rest....I only say try to rest because we were all so excited for the next day that I don't think that any of us really rested at all.

The next morning was an early rise to make sure that we were out of the hotel room and packed back in the van before we had to register for the event.
Then off we went to see what fun things were in store for us. I was super excited to get my picture taken with Rachel Tesselman the Paper Pumpkin Queen...Just love seeing all the alternate projects that she posts on her blog...
Once we registered got our bags and prize patrol buttons then we were off to pick a spot to sit. Our tables were decorated with wonderful goodies, some had buttons, or sequins scattered on the tables as confetti, and then each place setting was decorated like my picture. In the center of the table was a tub of supplies that we would be using to make our Make n Takes for the day...
It was so exciting to see how they had all the tables set up and to see some familiar faces working to put this event on for all of us. It was announced while we were there that this was the biggest On Stage location in the US...that was very cool news to hear. All of us in our group won a prize patrol and a couple even earned prizes while we were swapping. That in itself was super amazing. The swapping at this event went super fast and I awesome...they were all better than I could have imagined. I will post some of those in the posts coming next week. So be sure to stay tuned for that.
This one is one of my favorites that they shared with us... It is one of the new collections that will be offered in the new Occasions Catalog, Very nice Designer Series Papers, stamps and dies...This is a set that you will for sure want to see.
Of course we need a new birthday collection...this is one of the biggest holidays that is celebrated...You are sure to love the new stamps, punches and multicolored twine...and lets not forget the colorful Designer Series Papers too.
Valentines Day is sure the first thing that came to mind... when I see this cutout. Could this mean a new framelit, I would think so...It is not the only thing that we got to see to make Valentines Cards or even Wedding Cards...You are sure to fall in love with this new set too.
Oh this set makes me want to travel the world...It is sure to make you want to do the same, or it might give you just what you need to scrapbook some exciting trips that you have already made. I just love all the pieces that make this set amazing. Stamp sets, an embossing folder, and Designer Series Paper will sure be on your list to purchase.
Pictured you will see the cool Make-n-Take projects that we got to do during the day...and the tools that we got to use were some of the new items that will be featured in the new Spring Catalog.
