On the Eve of nasty weather I believe that our small town fared better than most. We were projected to get tons of snow and yet we got no more than a dusting. I think that this just confirms that no one can accurately predict the weather...
Today I am showing you some cards that Stampin' UP! featured only weeks ago in a great video that showed how to create these really cute cards. It is a great stamp set and I love the fact that it gives the perfect card for teens and between. The cards are using different methods of coloring and backgrounds.
You are sure to love them too. I will be posting a video that shows how to make these cards, check back tomorrow for the video. Here are the cards that I CASED and created.
The first card is using the sneakers. The original video used the Old Olive Stampin Blends markers, but I used the Night of Navy markers in light and dark.
Outline the sneakers with the dark marker and then color it in with the lighter marker.
I just noticed when looking at the images that I forgot a spot when coloring in the shoes, do you see it?
This note card is using Bermuda Bay Ink. It just looks cool with a wash of color behind the sentiment.
It is nice with the dots stamped in the same ink with the sentiment also. I think that when I make this card again, I will make the sentiment circle smaller.
My daughter loves music and this stamp set she used for a birthday card that she made, as well as I made this card for her too using her favorite color purple.
I like the headphones image too. My son is a gamer, and he is always wearing his headphones. It is little re prev because he tends to laugh and talk louder with them on.
I love the hint of sparkle using the silver glimmer paper.
This card us using watercolor pencils. Calypso Coral, Basic Gray, and whisper White to highlight the coloring.
